Assignment 1

This is a photo by Lynne Cohen (Untitled 2003 Courtesy of Olga Korper Gallery © 2009 Lynne Cohen). Reasons I feel it's successful include my admiration of grids within imagery, and the high contrast between colors.

Another photo from Lynn Cohen that reflects what I find successful in photography. Along with the contrast and grid pattern, I also work with the term "less is more" in mind often.

I also consider this photograph from Brian Ulrich successful for some of the same reasons. There is also the utilization of text and repetition. (http://notifbutwhen.com/)

This photo from Brian Ulrich combines the concepts of contrast, repetition and text to use. As a student of graphic design, I feel that they are important and successful.
